California Trip

Here are some SCARY and fun things we are doing in California - we are at my sister Wendi's house in Olivehurst CA. It is raining and so we are in the house playing Wii - Rob & I have never played it before and it is fun. Could be great excercise too! It is hillarious - check out the kids on the Allen blog.

Casey's 11th Birthday -

Casey's Birthday was spent with Grandma & Grandpa in the Payson area - they went to the farm and to lunch at the Santaqueen and out to dinner at Daltons. On Friday the entire Giffing family plus Grandma & Grandpa, Aunt Nat & Ava spent the day at the Children's Museum the Clark Planetarium and ate lunch at the Lion House. We also rode the Front Runner. Our new back yard!

We have a lot of baby calves in our back yard. Jaynee loves going out there she has become the official "calf namer" one day I could not find her when it was time to go the bus and I eventually found her out by the calves telling them good morning - like mother like daughter!

The Bear River - runs by us!

We live right next to the Bear River - we all love going down there and playing - especially Jack our dog!

Our new Benson home!

In August we moved to Benson Utah so Monica could go back to school and get her Master's Degree at Utah State University. I thought that you would like to see our new home and area. We love it up here, the kids are adjusting to living in the "country" and not having neighborhood kids around all the time. It feels like home to Monica & Rob and you will see why we have really enjoyed the home and it's surroundings. The tire swing has been a big hit of our new place!

Thomas the Steer has arrived!

We are so excited Casey's show steer was delivered today! His name is Thomas and will be a great show steer. He will be taking him to the Aggie Classic, Spanish Fork Stock Show and to the Vernal Stock Show - Casey is quite the entrepreneur for an eleven year old!!

Casey turns 11!

October 16th will mark Casey's 11th birthday - my how time flies! He will celebrate the day by going to his Grandma & Grandpa's house while mom is at a meeting. Then on friday we are going to go to the Children's Museum and the IMAX theater. He also wants to ride front runner so that will be a fun day. His steer should be arriving soon so most of his birthday gifts are based around him getting a 600+ pound steer to play with!
